This short report summarizes the most important findings from an online survey among shareholders of a citizen shareholder company, the Regionalwert AG Berlin-Brandenburg. The survey gives an overview who the ‘typical’ shareholders are und what they are thinking. This includes their initial motivation to become active and buy shares, their satisfaction with information and participation offers, what lessons they have learned as a result of their involvement but also their trust regarding the long-term development of the citizen shareholder company. Additionally, the report highlights the shareholders’ opinion towards the current status of the agricultural sector and policies in Germany.
