Behavioural food-health intervention
What is the Case Study about?
Despite numerous endeavours, success of changing dietary habits is almost marginal. The CS investigates how subjects’ specific preferences, social network and cohesion, level of education and financial resources can modify the adherence to and the effects of a dietary intervention within a 36 mth randomized intervention trial. This trial compares the effect of two dietary patterns on health-related outcomes, such as cardiovascular, metabolic and cognitive decline in 502 elderly subjects.
